Vibroflot is also used for making stone columns. The equipment is driven into the loose ground creating a hole. Gravel / stones / aggregates of a pre-determined size are then fed into the hole, either using the top feed or bottom feed method. A stone column is then produced by compressing the gravel with vibration. Stone columns can be made using dry method or wet, as per job requirement. This increases the load bearing strength of the ground.
